Detailed development history interview completes the appraisal. An individual program is designed for each client based on the results of the evaluation. Literacy (Reading) Instruction is on a one-to-one basis. The major goal of this program is to develop reading, writing, spelling and study skill strategies. Written summary reports detail outcomes and recommendations. Special Education (Learning) This program is designed to assist students to improve school related tasks. Offers a voluntary developmental evaluation and services program offered by New York State and administered locally by the Nassau County Department of Health Office for Children with Special Needs.
