Assists students in developing their own transition plan and to implement it through education, coordination of benefits and services, and group work.

SAIL provides information, advice, and assistance to youth with disabilities transitioning from school, family members, and other interested parties concerning transition planning and adult services and supports. The center also provides advocacy for transition planning, and assistance with the CSE process. SAIL provides assistance and support to individuals who are facing transitions in their lives. This includes transitions from Early Intervention Programs to school-based programs, transitions from school to work and/or adult services, transitions from living at home to moving into individual living arrangements, and other life transitions.

Offers supported employment opportunities which include job development, job coaching, person centered vocational profiles, vocational assessments, vocational planning, counseling, employment, job training, job placement, and transitional support to school age students.

Assists high school students with disabilities, assess their objectives for adult community life. The program encourages students to think about their future and develop skills to communicate their ideas with parents and teachers, and help develop more independence, self-esteem, and skills needed for a productive and fulfilling future. A team effort is implemented with families, schools, government services, and the general community to help students reach transition goals. Information, training, and technical assistance is available for students, to help with planning, benefits and entitlements, assistive technology, reasonable accommodation, personal assistance services, community resources, and housing options.

These jobs can be in the competitive workforce, self-owned businesses in the home, sheltered workshops or in supported employment in the community. Also works with students, families and school districts to coordinate appropriate services for students with disabilities who are leaving secondary education and entering adult vocational rehabilitation.

The Work Incentive Benefits Advisement program helps individuals with disabilities and their families understand how working may affect their public benefits. The program provides guidance on work incentives, benefit planning, and transition support, empowering people to make informed decisions about employment while maintaining essential supports and promoting greater independence.

The program serves students with two or more disabling conditions that result in multi-sensory or motor deficiencies. Services include skill development, self-management, language, mealtime, motor activity, occupational, physical and speech/language therapies, adaptive physical education and nursing.
