• Legal help directory where victims of crime can find trusted nonprofit legal aid programs that may be able to help
• Legal forms that may allow victims of crime to handle their legal matters without a lawyer
• Information pertaining to the legal needs of crime victims and their rights
• A victim compensation guide providing information about filing online claims for victim compensation

Provides on-site emergency food pantry for residents of specific streets in the City of North Tonawanda (call for details) and information on meal planning and budgeting. Provides rent, mortgage, and utility payment assistance to low income individuals and families when funds are available; funds are currently unavailable. Fair Housing Advocacy Program assists individuals who feel they are victims of discrimination when purchasing or renting a home. Offers information, assessment, and referral to the appropriate federal, state, or local human rights agency or court. Provides housing location services and landlord/tenant advocacy. Individual advocacy, information and referral, application assistance, asset management, and budget counseling are also available.

Services include recording of all land records, filing of all Supreme and County Court papers, judgments, and liens, public access to land, court, judgment and miscellaneous records, processing of passport applications, filing of business certificates, and processing of notary public applications.

New York State ERAP closed the portal for new applications for this service on January 20, 2023. However, tenants and landlords may continue to upload required documentation for pending submitted applications. Inquiries of applications already submitted may also be available.

Provides assistance in filling out forms, as well as information and referral. Offers portal to portal transportation for medical appointments and limited groceries. Also offers hot nutritious lunches, recreational activities, educational and health programs (including blood pressure, hearing, and cholesterol screenings), and organized trips (both day and overnight). Monthly bulletin available by request. Mayor's discount card available for all seniors 55 and older; must be used in the city only.

Public library. Offers 47 public access computers with networked Microsoft Office Applications, printing (10-cents B&W per page, 25-cents color), and Internet Access. Also features an auditorium available for public use. Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there. Free tax prep available during tax season; see separate listing and call for information.
