Offers new or gently used items of clothing, non-perishable food, new bedding and pillows, personal and feminine care items, toiletries, toys, books and other items to Nassau and Suffolk homeless or in-need residents.

Delivers food and some non-food items such as toiletries and diapers for those in need. Food can also be obtained by visiting the pantry with an appointment.

Helps those in need working collaboratively with social workers, communities and homeless shelters on Long Island to offer a variety of services including weekly blessing boxes filled with food, diapers, formula, and toiletries, a food pantry, emergency food bags, back to school supply drives, Thanksgiving meal programs, Halloween, Christmas and Easter basket programs which provide necessities to families in crisis on Long Island.

Assist homeless individuals with public shower needs.

Provides and distributes prepared meals, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, clothing and washkits to soup kitchens, and parish outreach programs throughout Long Island. Wash kits (soap, comb, razors) are made up and handed out on Wednesdays, and sandwiches and Bags to go served on Saturdays. Donations are also accepted such as Winter Coats, scarfs, boots, socks and clothing. Volunteer groups willing to help (Scouts, Community Service, Church Groups, please call Carol Ercole and set up an appointment.)

Pantry for clients/families in need can receive bags of groceries from the donated stock. The pantry receive and also accepts as donations, personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine products, razors, shaving cream, toilet paper, tissues, diapers, baby wipes. NOTE: Personal hygiene items are donated and it is requested that the parties in need call to inquire whether the hygiene products are in stock.

Food pantry available to community members in need of food assistance. Items include (but are not limited to) frozen meats, non-perishables, and fresh produce (more available during summertime). Individuals are eligible for 3 days of food every 30 days for emergencies only. Also free clothing closet available during pantry hours, personal care and feminine hygiene products.

Resource specialists assist guests with connecting to coordinated entry assessments, Single Point of Access assessments, homeless services, benefits/entitlement referrals, and linkage to behavioral health services. Open 365 nights a year. Services include:

Provides new and gently used clothing, shoes, food, hygiene products, household items, monthly Girl Scout cookies and more to our veterans and their families free of charge.

In the fall, winter and spring months, the Soap Closet is open at the end of each month to provide basic necessities: laundry and dish detergents, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc., for the less fortunate in the Kingston community. Dates and times are posted near the main entrance to Dean Hall.
