Outreach workers help establish eligibility for VA medical service and pension, develop appropriate treatment plans, and screen for community placement. The Sanctuary provides shelter for runaway and homeless youth 12-17 years of age and youth in need of respite services. The Children's Village has operated the program since 2009 and is located on the main campus in Valhalla, NY. Transportation is provided from anywhere in Rockland to the shelter, to and from school, medical appointments, services, etc. In addition, The Sanctuary offers individual, family and group counseling that encourages the involvement of parents or legal guardians; information and referrals, outreach to local youth; and aftercare plans.

Overnight emergency shelter is open from November 1st to April 30th. Guests are transported nightly from Maureen's Haven to an assigned host site at locations in Southampton, Southold, Riverhead, and East Hampton. The Kay Kidde Day Center, Case Manager, and Support Services are available year round at the Riverhead location. Services include: case management, housing assistance, access to healthcare providers, counseling, supportive services, programs, daytime respite, food, clothing, job training, educational opportunities, and a community garden. The Homeless Outreach Programs provide critical services to those who need it most. They include: the Summer Weekend Lunch Program, street outreach and responding to concerns about the homeless in our community, and coordinating services among providers for those individuals who are unable or reluctant to access them directly.

Operates a confidential shelter and offers extensive support services. Advocates for victims and survivors when interacting with law enforcement and prosecution as well as assist victims and survivors with law enforcement and prosecution. Services include advocacy, accompaniment, information and referral, support, and extensive safety planning. Provides therapy, which includes individual and group domestic violence education. Another service is the counseling, specifically designed for the unique circumstances that victims and survivors encounter. Offers The Law Project which provides consultation and representation on civil-legal matters to income-eligible victims, and survivors within the county.
