CYBERSECURITY CERTIFICATE | NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Offers a Cybersecurity Certificate which will introduce students to the world of information security. Confidentiality, integrity and availability will be a key focus as those three topics are a benchmark for evaluation of an information systems security. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of security related topics including physical security, encryption, security planning, disaster response, and will gain hands-on experience through Virtual Labs. Sample course offerings include: Operating Systems Management; Data Communications and the Internet; Information Security; Network Management I; Computer Forensics; and Hacking Techniques and Defensive Technology.
