FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS | ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL OF SUFFOLK (EOC)

Programs that seek to empower individuals to recognize obstacles and develop goals that can enable them to: secure higher paying, more fulfilling employment, improve job skills, effectively manage conflicts between family and job demands, strengthen family relationships, experience personal growth, master budgeting skills, become proficient at time management, expand problem-solving abilities, acquire new techniques in job retention and self-promotion, build self-confidence and become self-sufficient. Additional services offered: advocacy and referral based case management services, assistance in obtaining benefits (SNAP benefits, public assistance, Medicaid, SSD/SSI, etc.) and housing search assistance.
