Family Self Sufficiency Program | POUGHKEEPSIE HOUSING AUTHORITY

Provides support and assistance to all families receiving housing voucher rental assistance and want to become self-supporting and do not want to rely on public assistance. Assistance is given for up to five years, and the head of household enters into an agreement with PHA in which an action plan is developed that identifies the family's employment goals, and outlines the activities and services required to achieve self sufficiency.
