Eligibility
New York State residents within one of the following categories:Infant up to one year old;Child under age 5;Pregnant woman;Breastfeeding woman up to one year postpartum;Non-breastfeeding woman up to 6 months postpartum;All applicants must be at nutritional risk;Must be certified as at nutritional risk by a health professional such as a doctor, nurse or nutritionist and can also be determined at local WIC clinics;Applicants must meet income eligibility; Head Start programs automatically meet WIC income criteria
