Sterile Processing technicians perform and participate in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Working in a sterile processing area requires specific knowledge and skills, including an understanding of key areas and topics.
