Application process
Many working people are eligible for SNAP. Many people on public assistance, SSI, CSFP, WIC, or Meals-On-Wheels are also eligible. Some immigrants are eligible.

No fees are charged for these services.
Service area
Nassau, NY
Promotes participation in federal nutrition programs, especially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Summer Food Service Program, through outreach and training. Program staff will prescreen individuals for potential SNAP and assist with the application process. Staff provides professional training sessions for human service workers on food assistance programs and will assist interested organizations in serving/sponsoring a summer food service site.
