PEER INTEGRATION PROGRAM (PIP) | SUFFOLK INDEPENDENT LIVING ORGANIZATION (SILO)

Service available through ACCESS-VR. Provides clients with supportive services, and assists them in removing barriers that are or may be hindering their ability to reach their employment goals. Some of these barriers include: self-advocacy/sufficiency skills, transportation coordination, child care, social skills building/support, professional clothing, DSS, food insecurities, assistive technology, mental health services, peer counseling, support groups and housing assistance.
