Provides community services, free counseling and claims assistance for honorably discharged veterans and their dependents. Also administer a number of programs on the national level such as Amvets Against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse, Freedoms Foundation Youth Leadership Seminar, National Coalition for Homeless Vets (NVHV), ROTC, Scholarships and the Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Services (VABS).
