Long Term Care Unit (LTCU) | Schenectady County Department of Senior and Long Term Care Services

Experience case workers and nurses help functionally impaired Schenectady county residents with in-home services in the least restrictive setting with the assistance of family, friends and communities. The services are an access point for agencies and the community to obtain information about community-based services including long-term in-home care. The services Schenectady County Long Term Care unit may authorize are: Personal Care Service Program, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, Private Duty Nursing, and Long Term Home Health Care Program.
