COMMUNITY COALITIONS | YES COMMUNITY COUNSELING CENTER

YES partners with community coalitions in providing school-based program, intervention services, and environmental strategies. Some of these coalitions include: Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC), whose mission is to prevent and reduce youth substance misuse to promote a healthy Massapequa, Levittown Community Action Coalition (LCAC), whose mission is to create a community where residents feel safe, valued, connected, and empowered to meet life's challenges without turning to alcohol, opiates, or other drugs, and the Hispanic Alliance for Prevention Coalition (HAP), whose mission is to provide social, economical, educational, and health resources and support aimed at reducing the risk factors associated with Substance use for Hispanic Youth ages 12-17 in Nassau County.
