SENIOR CITIZEN SERVICES | TOWN OF ISLIP

Serves Islip residents ages 60 and older. Offers nutrition programs such as Congregate Meals (Offered to eligible Town seniors at 6 Nutrition Centers), Home Delivered Meals (delivered frozen weekly meals). Also offers a Residential Repair Program for senior residents who are no longer able to perform small repairs in their home. Offers transportation services to medical facilities and government buildings located within the Town of Islip for those who have no access to private or public transportation and cannot afford a taxi. Also offers a Shopping Assistance Program to assist those aged 60 and older who need assistance. There are six senior centers available.
