There is an application and interview process for potential residents of Sunflower house, Endeavor House and Peer Crossing.

Due to additional funding OAR has increased its focus on finding housing for clients and is in a collaboration with INHS--Sunflower Houses--which provides 12 additional bedrooms in 4 apartments for clients returning home from incarceration.OAR offers employment search and follow up support.

OAR serves people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. They help restore and maintain their clients inclusion in the community. In an effort to reduce recidivism they offer assistance with services such as : Meeting basic needs including food, clothing and social support Help obtain ID such as DMV non driver ID's and birth certificates. Applications for housing, employment, and financial assistance Provide safe affordable transitional housing Outreach to the encampments Referrals for medical and mental health College Initiative Upstate (CIU) Partnerships with numerous community organizations
