TOWN COMPTROLLER | TOWN OF SMITHTOWN

Assists and advises the Supervisor and Town Board on financial matters. Responsible for receipt and disbursement of Town funds in accordance with the budget the auditing of all claims, preparation of a Town payroll, the investment of Town funds and securing of Town debt, maintaining financial records, and preparation of Annual Financial Statement. Works closely with the Town Tax Receiver and Town Assessor in preparation of a yearly Real Property Tax Warrant.
