Provides fair housing counseling advocacy and training for housing providers and real estate related industry groups on state and federal laws. Investigates complaints and provides advocacy and services for victims of unlawful housing discrimination based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, familial status, age, marital status. Conducts fair housing testing and assists those seeking counsel for federal court litigation. Files federal and state administrative complaints. Serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
