PATHWAYS TO EMPLOYMENT | PEOPLE'S ARC OF SUFFOLK

Aims to empower people with diverse abilities by providing comprehensive vocational training and support though tailored programs. These programs promote inclusivity and accessibility that enable people to thrive in the workforce, and help each person achieve their vocational goals. The Pathways to Employment Program is a yearlong program that helps individuals transition into the workforce by providing a structured approach assisting people navigate the journey toward competitive employment. Individuals are given the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities designed to enhance their job-related skills. This may include vocational training, soft skills training (communication and teamwork), and job-specific skills relevant to the desired career path. This program is flexible/part time so that participants can explore the world of work while participating in other activities.
