HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM | HISPANIC BROTHERHOOD OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE

Provides housing counseling assistance in resolving housing issues and locating affordable housing for individuals and families. Offers assistance with landlord/tenant crises, evictions, foreclosure prevention services, mortgage default and homelessness. Provides advocacy, assistance with transition to permanent housing, legal advice and referrals to appropriate federal housing programs. Also investigates allegations of housing discrimination on behalf of victims whose rights (under the US Fair Housing Act) have been violated and to bring appropriate judicial or administrative action.
