Provides behavioral healthcare and substance use treatment for Eastern Long Island and Suffolk County. SBELIH is Suffolk County’s only facility offering integrated care encompassing detoxification, rehabilitation and psychiatric services, along with medical services. Acute psychiatric services are available for adult inpatient care in a 23-bed safe, nurturing therapeutic environment, certified by the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Office for Mental Health (OMH), and The Joint Commission.
