Service area

Broome County, New York
Provides case management and support for adults at risk of harm. Services include investigating and assessing an individual's needs and risks, offering support, coordinating medical and mental health services, arranging home care or meals, and arranging help with daily living tasks. PSA staff also advocate for benefits and services, assist with money management, and help find safe living arrangements when needed. Crisis interventions, including emergency placements, and long-term support such as guardianship, are available for adults who cannot protect themselves. Community referrals are made through the Department of Social Services.
