Home Care Services | WESTCHESTER COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS)

Offers a variety of home care services for Medicaid recipients who are elderly, infirmed or disabled. Some services include personal care, case and care management, personal emergency response devices, long-term home care for individuals who are eligible for a nursing home, but choose to stay at home. Home care services are physician ordered and supervised by a registered nurse, and services are rendered by licensed providers who are contracted and monitored the Dept. of Social Services.
