Serves children ages 5-21. Comprehensive educational and therapeutic services are designed to meet the needs of students with developmental disabilities who require specialized services outside their home school district. Curriculum focuses on functional life skills and activities of daily living. This program provides innovative, child-centered planning under the direction of a certified teacher in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. Programs are 10 months during the school year and a 6 week summer program which includes: progressive, function-based curriculum, occupational therapy, specially designed instruction, skilled nursing, psychology, vision, adaptive physical education, speech/language therapy, evaluations, social work, and family training.
