Radon Outreach and Education | Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County

The Radon Outreach and Education Program raises awareness among Albany County residents about radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas that poses serious health risks. Through the program, residents can request a kit from CCE Albany to test their homes for radon. Educators also share information about radon exposure and pathways, demonstrate accurate do-it-yourself testing procedures, and connect residents with certified professionals for further testing and remediation work if dangerous levels of radon are found in a home.
