Offers 24 hour, 7 day a week counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals for youth in Nassau County who have run away, are thinking about running away, or have no home to return to. All services are free and confidential. Referrals to emergency shelters as well as advocacy.

LONG ISLAND CRISIS CENTER
Provides free, anonymous, confidential suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and referral information for the many issues that affect people. LICC also offers online counseling Monday-Friday from 7pm-11pm. Services are avaiable for Long Island residents. Other projects that LICC operates are PFY (formerly Pride for Youth) - for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning adolescents and young adults, Runaway Hotline, and suicide outreach services. Community Education workshops are available for schools, agencies, parents and professionals. Topics covered are Suicide Prevention, Managing Emotions, Cyberbulling Awareness, Let's Talk Mental Health, Coping with Crisis, Understanding Sexual Orientation, Understanding Gender.
