Provides research-based parenting strategies to help parents and caregivers enhance their parenting skills and develop a deeper understanding of how their personal and parenting knowledge affects children. Offers the following classes: Parenting in Times of Stress - Raising Resilient Kids/Teens: Assists parents/caregivers as they manage the impact of stressful events on youth and the family. Improving Family Communication: Explores ways to encourage conversation with youth and keep the conversation going. Magic Years: Education program for parents/caregivers of children from birth to 4 years old, The Middle Years: Education program for parents/caregivers of children ages 5 to 10 years, The Tween/Teen Years: Education program for parents/caregivers of children ages 11 to 18 years. Parenting the Second Time Around (PASTA), an evidence‑based program designed to support grandparents and other kinship caregivers who are raising children who are not their biological offspring. The Strengthening Families Program: program for parents/caregivers and youth ages 11 to 18 years to work together on teen development, communication skills, and managing emotions.
