Eligibility

Low to moderate income; based on County’s medium income $32,500 minimum income required to afford mortgage in Dutchess County, applicants must be between 30%-80% AMI

Required documents

Family Partners must provide hours of sweat equity and complete prescribed training. Habitat partners are expected pay a mortgage based on 29% of the homeowners gross income. Habitat partners who are provided with repair or weatherization services are required to contribute to the cost of repairs based on income.

Also Restore a gently used home goods store with opportunities to donate, volunteer or purchase.
