VOLUNTEERS | STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Offers volunteer opportunities to Senior Volunteers (18 years and older). Individuals willing to donate a minimum of three hours a week for at least eight months or a total of 100 hours are encouraged to become Stony Brook University Hospital volunteers. In addition Stony Brook University Hospital currently accepts dogs certified through: Pet Partners and Love on a Leash. If you are interested in applying to the program, please reach out to Volunteer Services prior to beginning the application process to discuss further. If it is determined that there is a shift that is mutually convenient, you will be asked to complete a Senior Volunteer Application and provide a copy of your dog’s health records and proof of liability insurance.
