Greene County Department of Human Services provides Legal Consultation Services for persons age 60 and older through a contract with a private attorney. All elderly seeking advice will be assisted in obtaining appropriate services. Should it be necessary to call upon the services of another legal services program or refer the client to the private bar, our count contracted attorney shall assist the elderly individual in establishing the relationship with the referral attorney, and shall follow-up with such attorney or the client to assure that adequate and appropriate service has been provided.Please note that the attorney is available through the DHS office, by appointment only, for telephone consultations.
