Homebuyer Education Program | WESTCHESTER RESIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES (WRO)

HUD-certified first time homebuyer education program, including one to one financial counseling for first-time homebuyers, including how much of a mortgage is affordable, understanding closing costs, resolving credit issues, and how to select a real estate agent, lawyer, mortgage lender and other professionals. Counselors will link prospective first-time homebuyers with sources of down payment assistance. Workshops scheduled periodically at various locations throughout the county.
