PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES | NASSAU BOCES ADULT EDUCATION

Offers Job Placement and Vocational Training Programs for adults with disabilities and out-of-school youth who are looking to enter the job force for the first time or want to make a career change. Specific service include: Job placement; Job readiness; Career Awareness; Vocational Training and Work experience Training. These programs are funded through State Education Programs, Local WIAO Programs, as well as self-pay options. (You must qualify for payment by Agencies). To register, you can be referred by one of the following agencies, ACCES/VR, The Town of Oyster Bay, The Town of Hempstead, The Department of Veterans Affairs, or a school district or contact the Career & Employment Center office.
