Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) | New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services

Offers and trains a primary point of contact especially in the low-income areas for terrorism, crime, disasters and emergencies for citizens in their community, to be ready for any type of disaster, to become involved and be with the knowledge and resources necessary to be prepared for disasters, whether they are natural or man-made.
