TEEN SUPPORT GROUPS/LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM | SUNSHINE PREVENTION CENTER FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES

Offers a safe place for teens, providing positive role models and mentors. Weekly topics discussed include self-esteem and confidence, dealing with challenges of being an adolescent, friendships and relationships, handling social pressures and school pressures, and more. Support groups meet weekly throughout the school year. A parent component provides parents of teens with support, guidance and understanding.
