Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of the physical infrastructure of the Town of Smithtown. The town offers numerous parks, waterparks, beaches and recreational areas. The department will hire and supervise lifeguards and park attendants and issue permits for camping and picnicking at town facilities.
