Preserves and exhibits local history and present programs on local history of Southampton. Buildings at the main site include: Rogers Mansion, Fordham and Elliston Paint Shop, Red Creek Schoolhouse, Boys and Girls outhouses, Nugent Carriage House, Carpenter's Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Hildreth's General Store, Bayman's Decoy Shed, Corn Crib, and Sayre Barn. Also part of the museum are the Conscience Point Historic Site and Nature Walk, The Pelletreau Silver Shop, and the Halsey House and Garden. Offers a variety of events as well as the annual fundraising gala.
