FIFTH PRECINCT | SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Provides patrol and other police services to the southern portion of Brookhaven Town, the eastern portion of Islip Town, and the incorporated villages of Patchogue and Bellport. The 5th Precinct hosts open community meetings. The COPE Unit is tasked with addressing various community concerns, including traffic complaints and quality of life issues. COPE officers and the CLO regularly communicate with local community groups and attend local community meetings to spread public safety news and messages.
