Must be a war time veteran with an honorable discharge from military service with 90 days of active duty, beginning or ending during a period of war. The war time veteran or surviving spouse must need the assistance with daily living activities. The applicant must have less than $80,000.00 in assets, excluding their home and vehicles.

Offers a program for veterans and surviving spouses to defray costs of assisted living or supportive living services. Veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person or are homebound, may be eligible for additional monetary payment.
